We're hiring an Operations Manager

Bloco is looking for an operations manager. This is an ideal position for someone who loves working with teams, driven to increment and improve the company’s operations. As the operations manager, you’ll be expected to be present at the space. The role comes with a lot of flexibility and can be applied to a part-time job, which is ideal for someone studying or having a personal project.

We don't have strict experience requirements, you’re an ideal candidate if:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing operations or another similar role;
  • You’re patient, autonomous, proactive and creative;
  • You have strong organizational skills and are detail-oriented;
  • You’re driven and love figuring out ways to expand roles;
  • We expect good oral and written Portuguese and English communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration and Finances:

  • Managing invoices and expenses;
  • Coordinate operations with our accounts;
  • Payments to providers and other entities;
  • Helping with the payroll.

Operations:

  • Onboarding new employees, making sure they feel welcome;
  • Helping with hiring processes – proposals and interviews;
  • Weekly and punctually shopping for the office – groceries and supplies;
  • Keeping the office tidy and well-organized;
  • Book and schedule meetings, holidays, trips and team activities;
  • Planning and coordinating occasional events;
  • Client and user support;
  • Weekly and monthly reports about our products and projects;
  • Managing social media accounts and sharing the amazing work we do on Bloco;
  • Helping to launch campaigns and with other written content;
  • Nurturing a positive culture.

Business development:

  • Manage client and agencies communication;
  • Prospects new clients;
  • Follow-up leads;
  • Helping with clients' proposals.
